HOC was founded in 2001 as a software company for the energy and financial services industries. Its flagship product, EPIC (Enterprise Platform for Integrated Compliance), is an automated financial intelligence solution that unifies workflows, reduces redundancy, and transforms various data formats from multiple sources into a unified centralized truth.
They were redesigning their website and needed the copy rewritten, transforming their complex technology into an easily digestible concept for decision makers and executives. After extensive research and client-facing meetings, I created on-brand, informative website copy in an authoritative and trustworthy tone. Working closely with HOC's founders, together we formed a
positive synergy, and they asked me to collaborate further, writing a collection of taglines, a marketing video script, and whitepapers. Although the content was complex, learning about this type of technology expanded my skill set.
